The plans for our Summer Potluck are firming up. The date is set for the 21st of June at the 4-H Area above Nellie Weaver Hall from 3:00 until 6:00 PM. Bring your favorite dish and enjoy the company of good friends!
The following activity will be our Del
Mar trip which is scheduled for the 9th
of August. This trip is a lot of fun and
a nice day with friends and race horses.
We've managed to keep the cost of the
trip the same as last year, at $45.00, in
spite of the raise in gas prices.
The seats for this bus trip will go on a
first come first serve basis and be held
when the payment is received so you'll
want to get your payments in to me as
soon as you’ve decided to go. The cost
covers the bus as well as the tip to the
bus driver, the tickets for the race and
sodas on the bus. Feel free to bring
along your favorite snacks and spirits
for the bus trip since someone else will
be doing the driving! (This is an adults
only outing.)
We’ll meet at 10:30 AM at the paved Park ‘n Ride in the 3800 block of Old
Hamner Road. (This is the lot behind
the American Legion Post building.)
We should be back at about 8:00 PM.
